GridForce Football LLC (“GridForce,” “we,” “us”) runs youth flag football programs in Idaho and California, including GridForce Flag, GridGirlz, and Winning the Trenches, under an official NFL FLAG license. This policy explains what information we collect through gridforcefootball.com and our programs, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Our website is meant for parents, guardians, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors. It is not designed for children to use on their own.
WHAT WE COLLECT
When a parent or guardian registers a player:
• Parent or guardian name, email, phone number, and address
• Player name, date of birth, age or grade, and uniform size
• Emergency contacts
• Health information you choose to share so coaches can keep your player safe
• Signed waivers and agreements
From coaches, volunteers, and officials: contact information, information needed for background checks, and
payment and tax details for paid officials.
When you contact us: whatever you send us.
When you visit our website: basic, non-identifying information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and
browser type.
CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
Our players are kids, so we hold their information to a higher standard.
• We collect player information from parents and guardians, not directly from children. Players should not contact us or submit information on their own. If a child sends us information directly, we will delete it.
• We collect only what we need to place, equip, and protect your player.
• Player records are kept no longer than three years after a player’s last season, unless the law requires longer. Then they are deleted or destroyed.
• You can ask to review, correct, or delete your child’s information, and you can tell us to stop collecting more. Deleting required information may mean your child can no longer take part.
We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
HOW WE USE IT
To process registration, place players on teams, share schedules and game day updates, handle uniforms and equipment, screen coaches and volunteers, keep players safe, answer questions, and run the league. That is the whole list.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
We do not sell your information or your player’s information. We do not rent or trade email addresses or phone numbers.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Only the service providers we use to run the league, and each one gets only what it needs to do its job:
• NFL FLAG, for league licensing and player and coach registration
• TeamSnap, our registration and team management platform
• Payment processors
• Our background check provider, for coaches and volunteers
• Our payment provider for game officials
• Our email and website tools
• The uniform vendors who make your player’s gear
Coaches receive the roster and contact details for their team so they can communicate with families. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety.
PHOTOS AND VIDEO
GridForce Football LLC may photograph or record players during League activities and use those images on our websites, social media, and promotional materials, as described in the photo and media release included in registration. If you have a concern about a specific photo, email info@gridforcefootball.com and we will review it.
TEXT MESSAGES
We only text you if you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts about your player’s registration, schedule, or program. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help. GridForce Football LLC does not share mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.
PAYMENTS
Registration payments are handled through secure payment processors. We do not store credit card numbers on this site.
COOKIES AND DO NOT TRACK
Our website may use cookies to remember settings and see which pages people visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
HOW WE PROTECT IT
We limit access to the people who need it, use password-protected accounts, and rely on established providers with their own security programs. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
YOUR CHOICES
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we have, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You will still get messages needed to run the season, like schedule changes and safety notices.
YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
GridForce runs programs in California, and California residents may ask how we share personal information by emailing info@gridforcefootball.com. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as our programs change. The current version and its effective date will always be posted on our website. If we make a material change to how we handle children’s information, we will notify parents directly.
